I recently stayed at the Travelodge Wheatley and had a pleasant experience. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by Lisa at reception, who was extremely helpful and polite. When we encountered an issue with our TV, she promptly came to fix it with a smile, which was greatly appreciated. We had a good night's sleep, and the hotel itself was lovely. It had a nice scent throughout, the floors were clean, and the reception area was spotless. The only downside was that the car park was filled with rubbish, which was noticeable upon arrival. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would recommend it with the hope that the parking area could be improved! Rating: (4/5)
Room spacious, spotless and well maintained. Very polite and friendly chambermaid who despite being very busy, provided an extra pillow when requested. Liked the first floor room because it provided privacy from cars and people walking past ground floor windows. Comfy bed, airy room with additional fan if required. Plenty of parking. Very good value on a sunday night and excellent food at adjoining pub/restaurant. Good access to the motorway and a supermarket across the car park. Only downside, and nothing to do with the hotel, it was noisy quite late into the night and again early morning due to the delivery vans from supermarket.
A good Travelodge benefits from some recent improvement great location quiet and opposite big ASDA store for food snacks wine etc handy for Oxford and M40 south

Arrived in transit to Premier Inn, decided to stop to break the journey, good value room and nice evening meal. The room was near the reception door and a constant footfall and door opening / closing spoilt the nights sleep. The carpark was very busy with adjacen stores and noisy at times. Worth the money which was £34.
I will admit my expectations were low before coming but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay! I stayed for 1 night as I was meeting a friend in Oxford and needed to break the drive. The room was spacious and comfortable. I had an amazing nights sleep (which is rare for me, so proves the bed is decent). There’s a tv in the room which I also didn’t expect, which was great as I was able to watch love island Yes the room had some wear and tear but it was clean and I didn’t spot any major issues. There is some noise, like people walking through the corridor and some from the road outside but it wasn’t a major issue. Overall I’m very happy with my stay and would recommend for a night if you need somewhere to sleep.
